I've been everywhere man, I've been everywhere, I've been to.......

Hi there, welcome back to my blog. Since my last entry, I hired a car and travelled up to Scotland. Here are a few stops I made on the way.

Norwich Railway Station

Sculptures in town centre

Now this one is for those of you who laughed at nay mocked me when I brought that old playground boat for planting flowers in. I found this in Beccles (were my mum grew up)

This sheep is taking his life into his own hands (hoofs) by grazing so close to the road on the Yorkshire Dales

Here's my hire car (opposite where I hit missed the sheep grazing in last picutre

My friends home near Manchester where I stayed for a few days. One day we went out to look at can dining tables but came back having bought a whole new dining suite (not in cane). I was supposed to stay there again on the way back but they moved and didn't leave a forwarding address. I think they blame me for breaking the budget. It wasn't my fault the carpets needed cleaning before the new furniture went in though.

acutally I did stay there on the way back and peeled apples for my sins. Mary however made a great apple pie with the apples.

And here's the proof that the full english is still on the menu. Yep the black triangle is black pudding, yes I did eat it and yes to not wanting to eat it again. The first time was ok but when I tried it again I just couldn't do it. So I wouldn't make a good Scot and have blown my changes at Judaism.

On to the Lake District and Beatrix Potter country. The scenery was absolutely spectacular. Mr Fox was one of the characters on display at the Beatrix Potter Exhibition in Windermere.

A village near Beatrix Potter's home of Hill Top Farm. This is where her lawyer husband had his office.
